Short Information about the Bavarian Stem Cell Donor registry

The Foundation "Aktion Knochenmarkspende Bayern"

• The Bavarian stem cell donor registry was founded in 1993.
• We take care for more than 200.000 unrelated donors from Bavaria.
• We have a GMP-Unit of our own with cleanroom and liquid nitrogen storage for stem cell units or cord blood units.
• We produce approximately 400 cord blood units (only allogenic) and we perform about 200 stem cell or bone marrow collection per year.
• Prof. Dr. Hans – Jochem Kolb and Prof. Dr. Ernst Holler are both members of our executive board.
• We also offer international courier service for your TC .
